During the January 2008 TRB Annual Meeting, the Pavement Management Section sponsored a two-part session on “The Black and White of Pavement Selection.” Eight presentations were given by government and industry experts, including case histories and best practices. Among these presentations, information regarding FHWA policies, non-regulatory guidance, guidelines and best practices; state department of transportation decision making processes and best practices and industry perspectives was provided. During the January 2008 TRB Annual Meeting, the Pavement Management Section sponsored a two-part session on “The Black and White of Pavement Selection.” Eight presentations were given by government and industry experts, including case histories and best practices.
