The National Center for Sustainable Transportation at the University of California, Davis has released a report that examines freight modeling by analyzing the freight patterns, in terms of freight generation and logistics sprawl, of warehouses and distribution centers in Southern California. The report examines the factors that explain the concentration of warehouses and distribution centers in the area.
