Position Available: Director, Office of Legislative Affairs and Policy Communications
The U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is seeking to fill the position of Director, Office of Legislative Affairs and Policy Communications. The incumbent oversees the coordination, development, and communication of national highway policy and legislation to further FHWA and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) strategic goals. The incumbent also serves as FHWA’s liaison to Congress and representative to transportation industry stakeholders to address questions and concerns pertaining to highway policy. In addition, the incumbent provides guidance and advice to senior FHWA and U.S. DOT leadership, including proposing policy recommendations and preparing briefing materials.
