The Transportation Research Board (TRB) 88th Annual Meeting will be held in Washington, D.C., at the Connecticut Avenue Collection hotels: Marriott Wardman Park, Omni Shoreham, and Hilton Washington.

Plan now to attend the TRB 88th Annual Meeting, an information-packed program that will attract more than 10,000 transportation professionals from around the world to Washington, D.C., January 11–15, 2009.

The TRB Annual Meeting program covers all transportation modes, with more than 3,000 presentations in nearly 600 sessions addressing topics of interest to all attendees—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. The spotlight theme for 2009 is Transportation, Energy, and Climate Change.

The 2009 Annual Meeting Registration classifications, fees, and policies and the Hotel reservation information are provided to assist in planning your attendance. The 2009 Announcement, available in September, will contain information on how to register for the meeting and how to obtain hotel reservations through the TRB Housing Bureau. (Please do not contact hotels directly for reservations as they have been instructed that they will receive a rooming list from the TRB Housing Bureau.)

Registration enables access to the Interactive Program (available November 2008). You will be able to use the Interactive Program on the website to conduct searches by session title, paper title, keywords, author, and subject area to plan your personalized itinerary which includes meeting room names.
