Mobility Management: Public Participation Event

Mobility Management: Public Participation Event

TRB is hosting a committee meeting for the Mobility Management Study on August 14, 2019. Register in advance to join the meeting remotely from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central. The morning session will discuss the American Public Transportation Association 2019 International Study Mission, titled “Integrated Mobility: Being Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) Ready,” which visited Vienna, Austria; Hamburg, Germany; and Helsinki, Finland. Questions from the audience will be answered during specified parts of the program.

Register for Part 2 to join the discussion from 1:00 to 5:00 PM Central. Part 2 will include two panels of study tour participants -- one of larger cities and transit systems and one comprised of smaller cities and transit systems -- about what they learned on the tour and how they will apply the concepts in their own region. This part will also include discussion specific to what Dallas Area Rapid Transit is doing on the topic of transit integration. Again, questions from the audience will be answered during specified parts of the program.

This event is meant to inform the research process for the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine policy study. No certificates for educational credits will be provided. Registration is free. You must register for each part of this event separately.

For more information about the study, contact Anusha Jayasinghe at AJayasinghe@nas.edu. For registration questions, contact Elaine Ferrell at EFerrell@nas.edu.
