TRB conducted a webinar on February 5, 2014, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm ET that explored “Part 2 – Technical Considerations” of the recently published
NCHRP Report 748: Guidelines for the Use of Mobile LiDAR in Transportation Applications. A certificate for two Professional Development Hours (PDHs) was provided to attendees who registered and attended the webinar as an individual. Contact Reggie Gillum at

Webinar presenters addressed the details needed to plan mobile Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) projects and their appropriate deliverables. Participants with an understanding of basic geometric principles and experience with 3D laser scanning will benefit from this webinar. This webinar was the third in a series of LiDAR webinars; the first provided an overview of the guidelines included in
NCHRP Report 748 and the second focused on management and decision-making related to LiDAR projects.

A certificate for two Professional Development Hours (PDHs) will be provided to Professional Engineers (PEs) who register and attend the webinar as an individual. For groups, only the person that registers and attends the session will receive a PDH certificate.

RGillum@nas.edu, with their license number.
Please check with your licensing board to ensure that TRB webinar PDHs are approved by your board.
