TRB Webinar: Considerations for Pavement Applications and Maintenance at Airports

TRB conducted a webinar on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, from 2:00PM to 3:30PM ET that features research from the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP)’s Report 159: Pavement Maintenance Guidelines for General Aviation Airport Management and Research Report 178: Guidance for Usage of Permeable Pavement at Airports.

This webinar discussed the development of a web-based airport pavement maintenance recommendation tool and the tool’s use in helping general aviation personnel choose the appropriate treatment based on the conditions, climate, and the Federal Aviation Administration’s airport classification of the facility. The presenters also provided guidance on applying permeable pavements at airports.
