The National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) conducts research in problem areas that affect highway planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance nationwide.

• The Announcement of FY 2010 NCHRP Projects contains preliminary descriptions of those new projects expected to be advertised for competitive proposals.  Detailed Project Statements (i.e., Requests for Proposals) for the FY 2010 projects were developed beginning in August 2009.
• In 2008, NCHRP surveyed panel members to learn what they knew about the implementation of their research findings and how they would rate the program using four performance factors.
• FY 2008 NCHRP Annual Report (PDF). For summaries of NCHRP projects from 1962 through 1988, see NCHRP Web Document 7.
• The Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide, related documentation, and the latest version of its software are available online for evaluation.
