TranScan: Fall 2004

The Fall 2004 issue of the TranScan newsletter is now available.  The newsletter is published quarterly by TRB as part of the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Project on Highway Research and Technology– International Information Sharing.  This issue of TransScan reports on bridge fabrication systems, quiet pavement systems, and construction management practices.  The newsletter also includes a primer designed to provide a better understanding of PIARC/AIPCR (the World Road Association) and United Sates transportation officials’ involvement in the organization.
