Inland Waterways; Ports and Channels; and the Marine Environment
TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 1909 examines short-run grain movements of the inland waterway system, long-term forecasting of world grain trade by gulf exports, measuring the nontraditional benefits and costs of inland navigation, European transport policy and the Danube River, rural water transport and development, geographical characterization of ship traffic and emissions, and oil spills in maritime transit.
Individual TRR Journals, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes. Abstracts of papers that make up this TRR are available through TRB's Publication Index. In the Series field type "Record & 1909" (without the quotation marks). After reviewing the abstracts, you will need to use your browser's "back" button to return to this screen in order to purchase the publication.
TRR Journals may also be purchased on an annual subscription basis. Each year, TRB publishes approximately 40 volumes of the TRR Journal, containing more than 650 papers grouped by subject.
