TRB 86th Annual Meeting
The Transportation Research Board invites you to participate in the TRB 86th Annual Meeting, an information-packed program that will attract more than 10,000 transportation professionals from around the world to Washington, D.C., January 21-25, 2007. You will gain an unparalleled opportunity to share your knowledge and perspectives with colleagues and to learn about the latest developments in transportation research, policy, and practice.
The TRB Annual Meeting program covers all transportation modes, with approximately 2,600 papers and presentations in 500 sessions addressing topics of interest to all attendees—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. This year’s spotlight theme is Transportation Institutions, Finance and Workforce: Meeting the Needs of the 21st Century. Sessions also will bring you up to date on the new transportation research programs contained in the reauthorization legislation.
Specialty workshops, poster sessions, committee meetings, and exhibits of TRB sponsors and nonprofit transportation associations complement the formal sessions and provide a variety of opportunities for information sharing and interaction. All registrants will receive the TRB 86th Annual Meeting Compendium of Papers CD-ROM.
