The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), a part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Research and Innovative Technology Administration, has released the online version of the latest issues of the Journal of Transportation statistics. This issue examines topics such as the precision of geocoded locations and network distance estimates, discrete choice modeling, predicting total ship loss, forecasting greenhouse gas emissions, estimating confidence intervals for transportation mode share, work zone gaps and rear-end collision probability, and estimating bus system passenger-miles.
