Pavement Management; Monitoring, Evaluation, and Data Storage; and Accelerated Testing 2007
TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 1990 includes17 papers that explore gray theory-based prediction of pavement smoothness, condition measurement, a damage model to analyze stabilized soil layers, the length of the resurfacing cycle, videologging, and long-term pavement restoration. This issue of the TRR also examines calculating the runway pavement classification number, quality assurance and quality control, maintenance contracts, life-cycle cost analysis, frost effects, and service life of Long-Term Pavement Performance Program pavements. It also investigates network-level falling weight deflectometer testing, automated pavement distress data collection, transient dynamic loading, nonlinear elastic models for unbound granular materials, and mechanistic analyses of pavements.
Individual TRRs, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes. TRB's TRR Online service allows all visitors to identify papers of interest and review abstracts of those papers. Access to the full papers is available to service subscribers and employees of TRB sponsors. Papers may also be purchased on an individual basis.
Printed copies of TRR Journals may also be purchased on an annual subscription basis. Each year, TRB publishes approximately 45 volumes of the TRR Journal, containing more than 800 papers grouped by subject.
