Transportation Investment for Economic Development: Making the Case
TRB E-Circular 202: Transportation Investment for Economic Development: Making the Case explores the presentations made at a peer exchange held August 17–18, 2015, in Detroit, Michigan. The meeting focused on collaboration between state departments of transportation (DOTs) and their state economic development counterparts. This exchange was designed to provide an opportunity for senior state DOT officials to have a dialog with state economic development agency leaders on opportunities for closer collaboration in order to strengthen the productive linkages between the transportation system and economic development.
