2020 Virtual Forum on Sustainability and Emerging Transportation Technology (part 1)

Convened by Transportation Research Board, the 2020 Virtual Forum on Sustainability and Emerging Transportation Technology (part 1) will be held October 29, 2020. A second part will be held on November 5, 2020. Participants can attend one or both of the online sessions. The October 29 session will focus on Transformation of Transportation and Mobility Services and follow the schedule below.

12:00 PM ET - Three concurrent breakout sessions:

• Real Impacts of New Mobility Services on Communities
• What Do We Know about Shared Autonomous Vehicles?
• What Does the Future Hold?

1:15 PM ET - Closing remarks and key take-aways for the future

These events will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policy-makers to discuss and debate the intersection of sustainability and emerging transportation technologies with a focus on solutions. The 2021 Sustainability and Emerging Transportation Technology Conference is planned to be in-person in summer 2021.
