Have you registered for TRB's annual summer symposium on automated vehicle systems? TRB is hosting the virtual 2021
Automated Road Transportation Symposium (ARTS21) July 12-15, 2021.
TRB has added two more of the biggest names in AVs to the list of keynote speakers. Participants will hear from both Chris Urmson, Aurora Innovation cofounder and CEO, as well as Robert Sumwalt, National Transportation Safety Board Chairman.
Earlier this month, we also announced the exciting addition of Pete Buttigieg, U.S. Transportation Secretary as an invited keynote speaker, pending his schedule.
Since 2012, the Symposium has offered the world’s largest, most diverse, collaborative, and participatory event on automated vehicles and their effects on road transportation. It will continue to build on discussions on safety, urban mobility planning, environmental impacts, artificial intelligence, and more. It will also provide a focus on issues impacting the federal, state, and local departments of transportation resulting from road vehicle automation advancements.
It’s a place where the public, private, and academic sectors come together, where a diverse range of topics are covered through four tracks of
interactive breakout sessions: Policy & Planning, Users & Human Factors, Operations & Applications, and Technology. Informed by science and research, attendees can cut through the hype and focus on solving real-world problems.
It’s a place where attendees hear from the best and the brightest but where they are also true contributors to the conversation. Attendees range from the C suite to summer interns (and there is a student discount).
It’s–put simply –THE can’t-miss automated transportation event of the year. Register by
June 12 for the best rates!
