Continuing Project to Synthesize Information on Highway Problems (Superseded)

The NCHRP (National Cooperative Highway Research Program) Project 20-5 " Synthesis of Information Related to Highway Problems" attempts to search synthesize useful knowledge from all possible sources and to prepare documented reports on current practices in the subject areas of concern. The reports from this project constitute a report series, " Synthesis of Highway Practice", which assembles the information into simple concise documents pertaining to specific highway problems. The series also makes specific recommendations where appropriate but without detailed directions. The 107 published Syntheses of Highway Practice are listed in this pamphlet. The pamphlet also describes the submission and selection of topics for synthesis preparation, and the conduct of the studies. The pamphlet also includes an index to the published syntheses and topics now under study.
