TRB Freight Systems Group Brochure

TRB’s Freight Systems Group has released a brochure that highlights why and how to get involved in TRB freight transportation-related technical committee activities. The technical committees are communities of individuals who share a common interest and expertise. Standing committees are communities of individuals that share a common interest and expertise. They serve as open and unparalleled forums to disseminate and examine the results of research.

TRB’s Freight Systems Group consists of thirteen standing committees and one task force that propose research, share research findings, sponsor special activities, and provide a forum for transportation professionals to discuss current and future freight systems-related transportation issues. The chairs of each of the committees are members of the Freight Systems Group Executive Board, along with liaisons from relevant TRB sponsors and the Data and Information Systems section.
