Impacts on Practice: Improving Customer Experience at Airport Restroom Facilities

TRB's Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) has released its latest Impacts on Practice that explores how Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) is using ACRP Report 130: Guidebook for Airport Terminal Restroom Planning and Design to help guide remodeling plans for restrooms at the airport. The report addresses topics like cleanliness and customer safety for passengers; traffic flow; maintenance; and improved visual aspects of the restroom environment.
