Improving Equity in Transportation

Transporting New Energy Options Safely

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) has yet to be transported by rail tank car in the U.S. TRB and the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine are exploring steps needed if rail tank car is to become a safe, effective way to transport LNG.
