Throughout the year, ACRP offers opportunities for conducting research and encourages ACRP proposers to respond to competitive RFPs that best match their interest and experience. ACRP follows an annual cycle outlined in the Research tab under the ACRP Overview, that shares how ACRP selects its research projects for the development of RFPs.

Visit the Requests for Proposals or Information webpage for a list of RFPs that have been issued by ACRP and the other Cooperative Research Programs (CRPs).

Proposers should review the Information and Instructions for Preparing Proposals. Proposals will be rejected if they are not prepared in strict accordance with the instructions.

Watch the short tutorial video for tips about how to prepare a successful proposal.

const cover = document.getElementById('video-cover'); const video = document.getElementById('main-video'); cover.addEventListener('click', function() { cover.style.display = 'none'; video.style.display = 'block'; video.play(); });

ACRP project proposers are encouranged to connect to the new Collaboration Portal to locate potential research members for specific RFPs. Participants can also access mentors who can guide individuals or teams seeking assistance with proposal submission or CRP research execution. This initiative encouranges new potential research partner(s) to get involved and provides a valuable tool for finding collaborative partners.

Potential proposers can also sign-up for announcements about the release of new ACRP competitive RFPS.

For additional information, see the TRB Information for Proposers page with details on the competitive proposal process and helpful resources.

ACRP is sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration and managed by the Transportation Research Board (TRB).
