ACRP Impacts on Practice - November 2010: San Diego’s Efforts to Mitigate Noise Impacts for Community Stakeholders

The latest issue of TRB’s Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Impacts on Practice explores how officials at San Diego International Airport (SAN) have used two ACRP publications (ACRP Report 15: Aircraft Noise: A Toolkit for Managing Community Expectations and ACRP Synthesis 16: Compilation of Noise Programs in Areas Outside DNL 65) to gain insights, ideas, perspectives, and tools that have contributed to the effectiveness of SAN’s efforts to mitigate the impacts of noise.
